I just watched "Once upon a zeppelin," and MAN that was a great episode! My biggest highlight was the return of Iron Will. I really, really liked his character in "putting your hoof down," it's just too bad the episode was structured to make him look like a bad guy when objectively speaking, he was cheated out of his money. 😑 More on this later.
Seriously, why are we having an episode this week, with the movie premiering? I mean, it's a nice bone for the folks in other countries who aren't getting the movie yet... Who also don't get the episodes on the day they air in the US. <.< Someone explain this to me.
Twilight is torn when she discovers the cruise she and her family are on is actually a themed vacation experience in which ponies have paid for the privilege of spending time with her. Will she be able to please both her family and the cruise attendees?
Fuckin' a, this goddamn fucking season won't leave us alone. D: So all the other episodes have leaked, and today and tomorrow are days filled with audio/visual activities for me, let's say, so I don't know when I'm going to watch them. And I need to, because fuckers are spoiling shit for me already. D: Also, someone told me I need to catch up on comics before I watch them, so there's that to do, too (and yet, the site I'm using now isn't caught up...)
If there's anyone who needs a vacation, it's Twilight. Yet, she can't help but put others needs before her own. Which then causes her to become miserable after doing princess duties while on vacation. And towards the end, [Cadence] delivers a message on not running yourself ragged by trying to please others, while maintaining balance with work, and other responsibilities, including yourself. People pleasers, take notes! Your happiness is important too! As for the rest of the episode:
If Twilight hadn’t already planned her family vacations before Once Upon a Zeppelin, she’s definitely doing so now. Honestly, Twilight had all the power in that situation (the passengers came to see the princesses, after all), and should’ve negotiated the schedule. My being angry at the situation kept me from enjoying this episode much. But I did like the recreation of the star reformation at the end- that was cute!
As Casey wheeled himself out of the Crystal Mirror, followed by Starlight, the injured pony asked, “You think we missed anything while we were gone?”
“Nah, I doubt it,” replied the light-purple unicorn, and she began following Casey out to the balcony, where they began to enjoy the fresh air and coolness of the night. “Didn’t Twilight have a bunch of princess stuff to take care of?”
